In the role of Data Analyst Apprentice, you will be providing support to consulting and technical teams across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. You will play a critical role by contributing to the knowledge management process while interfacing with internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

What is the Apprenticeship experience like?

As a way to accelerate your growth, you’ll participate in DCI’s Data Analyst Apprenticeship Program remotely while working at a partner company. Prior to the apprenticeship program start date, you’ll receive three months of in-demand skills acceleration, coaching, and interview preparation in the Pre-Apprenticeship program which is also remote.

As an apprentice, you’ll start in a cohort of 10+ apprentices and complete the program over 12 months where you can earn 24 college credit hours to transfer towards a bachelor’s degree online. *(select colleges apply)

You’ll attend remote evening sessions twice a week where you’ll dive deep into all things data including business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, python, coding, and data mining. You’ll complete milestones along the way like earning data certifications to validate your skills, module portfolio projects, etc.

You will also receive support from top industry coaches and mentors to progress through your personal and professional goals, skills roadmap, while also demonstrating new knowledge and competencies through hands-on application with your portfolio project.

Furthermore, DCI’s Data Analyst Apprenticeship Program is an official registered apprenticeship recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL). Every graduate of a Registered Apprenticeship program receives a nationally-recognized credential from the DOL.

Key qualifications for the Data Analyst Apprentice Role:

Because we understand that you’re just beginning your career, we’re committed to your learning and growth. We’re seeking candidates who have the following requirements.

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Texas Resident
  • Adventurers needed. You’ll have the opportunity be placed in one of our partner company’s locations throughout the US.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with programming languages (Python, Java, SQL, R, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially creating/ maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to accurately sort and analyze data
  • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Must be willing to learn additional data engineering and analytics toolsets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design and detail processes
  • Troubleshoot issues, document process, review checklists, and develop a reference implementation
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Support technical team deployment with activities to ensure a smooth go-live of new processes, products, or systems
  • Understand the existing system and processes to document
  • Reverse knowledge transfer to document the process of support and maintenance

This job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required based on job requirements. Adventurers needed. You’ll have the opportunity be placed in one of our partner company’s locations throughout the US.

Job Description:

Love all things Digital? Passionate about Search Engine Optimization? Then you might belong at Gartner Digital Markets. We are looking for a SEO Associate Apprentice. A go-getter with strong communication skills to help increase the visibility of our content and market research. We’re seeking those who have a passion for digital marketing and are eager to develop a strong foundation in SEO driven content marketing. You’ll share our content with industry influencers, journalists, and tech bloggers to get mentions and write-ups, with the ultimate goal of securing more visibility for our new and existing content. As an apprentice, you’ll join with other apprentices in a local cohort with DCI. You’ll go through the curriculum together, learning about Gartner Digital Markets and building the skills you’ll be acquiring throughout your apprenticeship. 

Responsibilities:

    • Email outreach campaigns. You’ll come up with promotional angles, write pitches, and identify opportunities for our research to be shared across outlets that reach our target audience of software buyers.
    • Hit ambitious goals. You’ll work with SEO leadership to set promotion targets and then work to ensure we hit those numbers.

 

  • Work with a world-class team. You’ll collaborate with SEOs, content analysts, PR pros, and be a part of a global team committed to excellence.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Email and writing chops. Your pitches are polished and personalized, your campaign tracking is on point, and your email subject lines entice people to open and respond.
  • Great interpersonal skills. Your projects will impact many other parts of the business, so building relations with internal stakeholders (as well as the external contacts you are working with) is critical. 
  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize. You nerd out on organizational systems and you’re always looking for ways to get more done with less wasted effort.
  • Appreciation for data. We measure everything around here and use a data-driven approach to develop our outreach strategy and evaluate success. 
  • Intellectual curiosity. You’ll be working with content analysts across several different markets and the more you dive in and develop industry expertise, the more effective you’ll be in your role.
  • A “fear no change” attitude. The digital marketing landscape is constantly evolving so flexibility and a commitment to continuous learning is key.

 

DCI Apprenticeship:

  • In addition to working full-time, the right candidate will spend 10-15 hrs per week participating in the Digital Creative Institute’s Digital Marketing Apprenticeship
  • Apprentices receive accelerated digital marketing upskilling through expert training, mentoring, and coaching
  • Tuition is calculated after any awarded Grant funding and employer contributions are deducted, with a maximum cost of $14,000. No tuition will be due if full-time employment is not retained. For more information, check out https://digitalcreativeinstitute.com

Job Description:

Our partner, Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Brand Marketing Apprentice and someone that has passion around brand, marketing, and communications.  You put the customer at the center of your strategy and decision making no matter what. You’ll work alongside the Sr Brand Manager to drive an integrated marketing strategy bringing the teams together to go to market. We’ll use multiple marketing channels and tactics across core marketing functions such as communications, SEO, social, creative, and email, to implement a strategy for Software Advice buyers that is relevant and differentiated. As an apprentice, you’ll join with other apprentices in a local cohort with DCI. You’ll go through the curriculum together, learning about Gartner Digital Markets and building the skills you’ll be acquiring throughout your apprenticeship. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement a consistent and united brand marketing strategy
  • Create customer testimonials to help tell the story of Software Advice
  • Understand the buyer journey, assess what we’re doing well and what could be improved on
  • Assess the competitive landscape and industry trends across core categories 
  • Review net promoter score data to see how we can improve and present to marketing teams 
  • Review marketing data to gather insights about the buyer and present to marketing teams 
  • Demonstrate leadership through knowledge about cross-functional initiatives relevant to the brand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred: business, communications, marketing, public relations, economics, mathematics/statistics) or applicable marketing experience.
